  • Marie-Claude Lavigne

    Experience

The field of health has always occupied a prominent place in my life. First wanting to practice medicine, I knew that one day I would work to improve the quality of people's lives. Having struggled with chronic pain myself, I was looking for all possible solutions. I have found through movement, both in the form of manual therapy and physical activity, a way to help people take charge of their health. For a few years now, my interest has turned to cross-training. My career as a therapist allows me to observe from a different angle the typical movements that can be found in this kind of training, the relevance of performing them well and above all of preparing them well. Every day in my office, I see the consequences of faulty movements repeated over time at work or in sports, poor coaching in the gym or poor lifestyle habits.

My goal as a therapist is to allow my clients to regain control of their abilities and to help them perform their exercises effectively in order to have intelligent muscles and respect the natural mechanics of the body.
